We wanted to create something for casual runners, like us, who want to get fit / stay fit, learn how to run a little better, and -- above all -- have fun. We talked to our friends down the street at The Lincoln Park Fitness Center and Studio LPFC and they thought it was a cool idea and wanted to get involved too.
So now we have a great coach (Ray Peleas) who is going to help us all learn some basics about good running form, stretching, diet, cross-training, etc. To make things even better, they are offering everyone who joins 14 days of FREE gym access to both of their workout facilities at 444 W. Fullerton. And, to sweeten the deal even more, we're giving everyone who joins a FREE "RunPB" t-shirt.
